Managing Director
Tony is the Managing Director of Sarbkar. He has been at Sarbkar since the very beginning back in August 1988. Tony along with his brother Russell they started Sarbkar as a Saab Specialist garage in Liverpool. The main focus was to provide servicing, affordable repairs and parts for SAAB cars in and around the Liverpool area. Sarbkar has become very successful and our customer base continues to grow. We still have customers coming to us that we had since day 1.
Director
Gaynor is Tony’s wife and a very big part of Sarbkar. If it wasn’t for Gaynor Sarbkar may not have been the success it is today. Gaynor works behind the scenes and is in charge of finances and making sure everyone is paid on time.
Workshop Foreman Technician
Dave is our workshop foreman and main mechanic. Dave recently passed his IMI Electric vehicle training course and is fully trained in working on all petrol/diesel and electric/hybrid vehicles. Dave’s roles in Sarbkar include; Managing the workshop, Managing the workload and Diary, Distributing work to workshop staff & keeping everything running smoothly. Dave is also in charge of training apprentice mechanics.
Office Administrator and Service Receptionist
Jan’s role in Sarbkar is all customer based. Jan is in charge of bringing in and booking work in for our workshop staff. Jan also assists in administration work which includes; invoicing, banking and taking payments.
Sales & IT Manager
Anthony joined Sarbkar in 2012 and is Tony & Gaynor’s Son. He manages his own part of the business which is focused on supplying used parts via an online platform. He is also in charge of general IT management, Networking, Software updates, Garage Assistant Invoicing & Maintenance. Anthony also manages the online Social Media pages so keep an eye out for his “Put a sold ticket on it!” videos.
Technician
Mark is a great mechanic and has been working at Sarbkar for over 15 years. He has excellent knowledge in servicing and repairing motor vehicles and has brilliant workmanship. Mark has a “get on with it” attitude which he uses to the best of Sarbkar’s needs which really helps with managing time and moving on work quickly.
Admin & Accounts
Amanda is in charge of anything admin related. Amanda will organise car sales, invoices, contact customers and arrange collection of used cars when purchased through our showroom.
Sales & Administration Assistant
Lauren is the newest member of the Sarbkar team and is currently undertaking in-house training across several areas of the business. Her day-to-day responsibilities include managing sales vehicle job sheets, handling customer telephone enquiries and messages, sourcing vehicles for sale, overseeing our website review system, and assisting with the management of the vehicle sales process. Lauren also plays an important role in pricing sales vehicles and ensuring prices are kept accurate and up to date.
